SECTION 1. The Tawn Cauncil hereby ap�ro�es t}�e Faurth Amendment ta
the [ntergo�ernmental Agreement between the Town ❑f Fountain Hills and the
Maricopa Cnunty Library District, in the form atta�hed hereto �s Exhibit A and
incarporated herein by reFere�l�e,
SECTION 2. The Mayor, the Town Manager, the �1'flwn Clerk, and the Tawi�
Attat•ney are hereby authorized and directed to cause the executian of the Fourth
Amendment and t❑ take all steps necessary to carry nut the pui-pose and intent ❑f�
tliis E7esnl�itian.

THIS FOURTN AM�NQMENT �"Amendment°} 70 INTERGnVERNMEI�TAL AGRE�M�NT �this
"Fourth Amendment"� is ent�red into between tf�e Town of Fountain Hills, an Arizona muni�ipal
corporatian (the "Tawn°} and the Maricopa Gaunty Library d�strict, a politica[ subdivision of the
5tate af Arizona �th� "�ibrary District°}. The Town and the Library Uistrict are sametimes
referred to herein colle�tively as the "Parties" All capita[ized terms not defined #�erein shalf have
the rraeaning set forth in the Intergvvernmental Agreernent.

A. T�re Town and tne Library District exec�ted an In'tergovernmental Agreement �"IGA"} on
August 16, ZQ11 t❑ operate the Fountain Hills Branch Library, as subseq�ently amended
by that First Amendment to the IGA and that Second Amendmen# ta the IGA and that
7hird Am�ndment to t�e IGA.
B, The 1GA as amended will expire an August 1 b, 202b.
C, The Town and the Library ❑istrict desi�e ta renew the IGA as amended ar�d extend �ts
term.
AGREEMENT
NOW, TH�R�FOR�, in consideration �f the faregofng recitals, which are incarporated
herein by referen�e, an� the promises and cover�ants set forth below, the Tawn and the ��brary
District agree as foilows:
1. The term for services under the IGA shall he renewed for �ne f3ve (5) year term
commencing August 17, 202b.
2. The Agre�m�nt and this Faurth Amendment is subj�ct to and inGorporates by r�ference
the staCutory ianguage of A.R.S � 38-51 �.
3. In aIl other respects, the !GA as �reviausly amended is affirmed and ratified and, except
as expressly madifi�d herein, all terms and conditions of the EGA shall remain in full
for�e and effe�t, as approved and amended.
4. This F�urth Amendment [s effectiv� upon executian by �oth Parti�s.
