HILLS, MARICDPA C�UNTY, ARIZONA, AMENDING ZDNING �RDINANCE
CHAP�ER 6, SIGN REGULATI�NS, SECTION 6.08A 6, L7RIVE THR�IiGH SIGNS
1"0 INCREASE THE SIZE QF SIGNS ALLOWE�
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the �awn of �ountain Hills �the "Tawn Council"j
adopted Ordinance No. 93-22 on No�ember �l8, 1993, which adapted the Zoning Ordinance
f�rthe Tawn of Fauntain Hills (the "ZQning Ordinance"}; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council desires ta amend Chapter 5, 5ign Regulations, Se�tian E.D8
D. 6. ori�e-Thraugh Signs t❑ all�w larger signs; and
WHEREAS, in a�cardance with the �oning �rdinance an�i pursuant to ARIZ. REV. STAT. � 9-
4fi2.p4, public hearings regarding this ordinance were advertised in the April22, �D26, and
Aprif 29, 202E, editions ofthe Fountain Hills Times; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was hetd byt�e Tpwn Council on lune 1 C, 2a26; and
WHEREAS, in ac�ordance with Article II, Sectians 1 and 2, Constitution of Arizana, and the
laws of the 5tate af Arizana, the Town Cauncil has considered the individual property rights
and personal [iberties of the residents of the Tawn and the prabable impact of the
proposed ardinance on the cast to canstruct hausing for sale ❑r rent before adopting this
ordinance.

F�UNTAIN HILLS, ARIZONA, as follc�ws:
SECTIDN 1. The recitals above are hereby in�arporated as if fully set forth herein.
SECTIDfV 2. Chapter �, 5ign Regu[ations, is hereby amended as provi��d in Exhibit
�
SECTION 3. 1f any provision ❑f this Ordinance is for any reas�n held by any �flurt of
competentjurisdict�on to be unenfor�eable, such pro�ision or partion hereof shaLl be
cfeemed separate, distinct and independent of all other provisians and such holding shall
not affect the �alidity af the remaining portions of this �rdinance.
SE�TI�N 4. This ordinance shatl become effecti�e t�irty j30} days after its passage
and adoption by the Town Council of t�e 7own af Fountain Hills, Arizona, and its approval
by the Mayar and attestatipn �y tha Y�wn Clerk.
