SECTI�N 9-232.81 AN❑ T�WN CODE 2-1-5 ESTABUSHING AN ANNUAL
STiPEN❑ A�JIJSTMENT F�R C�IJNCIL MEMBERS AND THE MAYQR AT
THE SAME RATE APP�IE❑ TO T�WN STAFF C�MPENSATl�N
NDW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE50�VE� BY THE T�WN COLJNCI� �F THE T�WN OF
F�IJNTAIN HIL.RS, as follows:
SECTI�N 1, That Se�tion Z-1-5 of the Fauntain Hilis Tawn Code pr��ides that the stipends paid
to the Mayor and Council for service in affice shall be fixed from time ta time hy resolution af the
�ouncil.
SECTIOCV 2. The Cauncil approv�s a final hudget for the Tawn each fiscal year that may include
a salary adjustment for ail Tawn employees, ex�ept thase with individual emplayment contra�ts.
SECTIDN 3. Pursuant ta the authority under bath state law and the Tawn Code, from and after
De�ember 1, 2026, the stipends for Council Members and the Mayar shall be incr�ased on the
efFecti�e date and by the same percentage as Cauncil appro�ed salary a�justments f�r all Town
employees, ex�ept thase with indi�idua! employment contracts.
The stipends and any adjustments to them pursuant ta this secfian are in lieu of any other
in�reased salary or wages and ather incidental expenses.
