Recagnizing �ur Sister Cities and Cultural Heritage Mvnths
- WHEREAS, the Tawn of Fauntain Hills �alues the friendships, cultural exchanges, and
mutual understanding fostered through its 5ister City relationships; and
= WH�REAS, ❑ur 5ister Cities—Ataca. EI 5alvadnr; ❑ierdarf, Germany; and Zamasc, ,
Rofand—enrich the cultural fabric of Fauntain Hiifs, promote internatianal gaodwill, and
pro�ide oppartunities far edu�ational, artistic, and ci�ic colla�oration; and
WHEREAS, we jain the Nativn in hanoring and ceiebrating:
■ HiSpanic American Heritage Month
■ German American Heritage Month
■ Pofish American Heritage Month
WHEREA5, these observances provide an apportunity ta reflect upan the diverse cultures
represented within aur community and the shared values that unite us.
WHEREAS, the Tawn of Fountain Hills recogni2es the ongoing contri�utions of its Sister
Cities partners and the dedicated �olunteers ❑f �ountain Hills 5ister Cities, wha make
these internatiartal connectians passihle.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED that I, Mayor Gerry M. Friedel, along with the
Town Cauncil af Fauntain Hills, Ari2ona, do herehy recagnize aur Sister Cities and join in
celebrating Hispanic, German, and Palish American Heritage Months. We encourage all
residents ta engage with, learn from, and honor the rich cultural traditi�ns and
eantributians of these communities.
