So this is a special sessian relating to the resolutian 2fl26-19 de�laring and adopting the
results of the primary election held on July 21st, 202C.

G�OC7WIN: Thank yau, Mayor. I'm going ta turn this on� over ta our town attorney to
walk thraugh the legal requirements af this action today.
WRIGHT: Mayor and Council, state law requires the Council ta canvass the electian
within twenty days caf the primary election. Maricapa Caunty has certifi�d the r�sults
and pra�ided them to the town clerk.
Th� certified results show that the Mayor and three Coun�ilmemk�ers were elected at
the primary electian. As a resuft, no local �andidate races will appear on the No�ember
general election bal�ot.

The results of this el�ction is effecti�e as of the date af the general election. Sa
fallowing the council's appro�al of the can�ass, the newly ele�ted officials will take
affice and be sworn in at the first regular Council meeting in De�ember, on De�ember
1st.
The Mayor Elect is Gerry Friedel. Council members elect are Mathew Corrigan, ❑an
}Co�ace�ic. 5arry. �hank yau. 5orry. I'll get that better. And Ber� Larrafaee.
