HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 1990-29RESOLUTION NO. 1990 -29 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS, ESTABLISHING PAY PLANS FOR EMPLOYEES IN THE MUNICIPAL SERVICE OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS. WHEREAS, the Town Council desires to determine and establish job descriptions and pay ranges for employees in the municipal service of the Town of Fountain Hills; and WHEREAS, the Town Council desire that the rates of pay set forth in said resolution shall supersede any previous salary ranges for said employees in various classes or positions; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS, ARIZONA: SECTION 1: That the minimum and maximum annual salaries for the employees of the Town of Fountain Hills described herein by position title shall be as follows: POSITION TITLE MINIMUM MAXIMUM Community Development Director 34,800 56,400 Street Superintendent Town Clerk 31,000 27,500 44,000 43,800 Planner 26,400 35,000 Building Official 25,900 33,700 Accountant 19,600 30,000 Exec. Sec. /Admin. Assist. to Town Manager 18,100 29,200 Bldg. Safety Dept. Admin. Assistant 15,000 25,200 Marshall - PT 15,000 21,000 SECTION 2: That the hourly pay ranges for the street department employees of the Town of Fountain Hills described herein by position title shall be as follows: POSITION TITLE MINIMUM MAXIMUM Field Supervisor 11.67 14.58 Maintenance III 10.11 12.63 Maintenance II 9.13 11.40 Maintenance I 8.27 10.33 SECTION 3: That the hourly pay ranges for the clerical and related employees of the Town of Fountain Hills described herein by position title shall be as follows: POSITION TITLE Court Clerk Secretary I Receptionist /Clerk 'Typist MINIMUM MAXIMUM 7.45 10.34 6.85 9.59 6.06 7.98 SECTION 4: The minimum and maximum rates and the ranges constituting the salary range of a position title shall supersede any previously adopted for said titles. SECTION 5: Employees in Section 1 are salaried and are not eligible for any overtime compensation. Employees in Sections 2 and 3 are hourly and therefore entitled to overtime compensation. SECTION 6: The Town Manager is hereby authorized to place the salary of each employee at a rate of pay within the salary range for the position title to which said employee is assigned. The rates of pay so established for various employees shall be effective at the time of review. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of October, 1990, by the Mayor and Town Council of Fountain Hills.
