HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 1999-34RESOLUTION NO. 1999-34 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS, ADOPTING THE TENTATIVE BUDGET AS THE 1999 -00 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET FOR THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS. WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of Title 42, Sections 301, 302, 303 and 304, A.R.S., the Town Council of the Town of Fountain Hills did, on July I, 1999, make an estimate of the different amounts required to meet the public expenditures and expenses for the ensuing year, also an estimate of revenues from sources other than direct taxation, and the amount to be raised by taxation upon real and personal property of the Town of $450,500; and WHEREAS, in accordance with said sections of said title, and following due public notice, the Council met on August 5, 1999, at which meeting any taxpayer was privileged to appear and be heard in favor of or against any of the proposed expenditures and expenses; and WHEREAS, it appears that publication has been duly made as required by law, of said estimates together with a notice that the Town Council would meet on August 5, 1999, at the meeting place of the Council for the purpose of hearing taxpayers; and WHEREAS, it appears that the sums to be raised by taxation, as specified therein, do not in the aggregate amount exceed that amount as computed in Title 42 Section 301.A, A.R.S.; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the said estimates of revenues, expenditures and expenses shown on the accompanying schedules as now increased, reduced or changed by and the same are hereby adopted as the budget of the Town of Fountain Hills for the fiscal year 1999 -00.
