RESOLUTION 2000 -46
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS,
MARICOPA COUNTY,ARIZONA,DECLARING AND ADOPTING THE RESULTS OF THE
SPECIAL ELECTION HELD ON SEPTEMBER 12,2000.
WHEREAS,theTownCouncilof Fountain Hills,Maricopa County,Arizona didcausetobesubmittedto
the qualified electors of the Town ata special election held in and for the Town on the 12th day
of September,2000 forthe purpose ofvotingon Proposition 405,Referendum 2000-R01,a
referendum orderedbythepeopletorefer Ordinance 00-06,an ordinance amendingthetextof
theZoningOrdinancefortheTownofFountainHills,andbyamendingtheofficialZoning
DistrictsMap of the Town of Fountain Hillsby designating 28.6±acresoflandsouthofShea
Boulevard andwestof Saguaro Boulevard fromthe "DSfD-2"LightIndustrialZoningDistrict
tothe "C-2 P.U.D."Intermediate Commercial Planned Unit Development Zoning District;and
WHEREAS,the election returnshavebeen presented toandhavebeen canvassed bythe Town Council.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
FOUNTAIN HILLS,ARIZONA,as follows:
Section 1.Thatthetotalnumberof ballots castatsaid special election,asshownbythepoll lists,was
5,236.
Section 2.Thatthenumberof ballots tobe verified was192andthenumberof challenged ballots was
0.
Section 3.Thatthevotescastforthe proposition wereas follows:
