SPECIAL SESSION OF THE
DISTRICT BOARD OF
THE EAGLE MOUNTAIN COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT [EMCFD]
June 1, 2017
CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
District Chair Linda M. Kavanagh called the Special Session to order at 6:27 p.m. in the Fountain Hills Town
Hall Council Chambers.
ROLL CALL — Present for roll call were the following members of the District Board of the Eagle Mountain
Community Facilities District: Chair Linda M. Kavanagh, Vice Chair Alan Magazine, Boardmember Cecil
Yates, Boardmember Art Tolis, Boardmember Nick DePorter, Boardmember Dennis Brown, and
Boardmember Henry Leger. District Manager Grady Miller, District Board Attorney Andrew McGuire, and
District Clerk Bevelyn Bender were also present.
CALL TO THE PUBLIC
District Clerk Bender advised that there were no citizens wishing to speak at this time.
AGENDA ITEM #1 — CONSIDERATION OF APPROVING THE EAGLE MOUNTAIN COMMUNITY
FACILITIES DISTRICT BOARD MEETING MINUTES OF MAY 4. 2017,
Boardmember Yates MOVED and Boardmember DePorter SECONDED a motion to approve the meeting
minutes of the May 4, 2017 Eagle Mountain Community Facilities District Board meeting.
Ms. Bender advised that there were no citizens wishing to speak at this time.
The motion CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY by those members present (7-0).
AGENDA ITEM #2 — PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING RESOLUTION EMCFD 2017-02. APPROVING
THE TENTATIVE BUDGET AS THE FINAL BUDGET OF THE DISTRICT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
BEGINNING JULY 1 2017. AND ENDING JUNE 30. 2018.
Chair Kavanagh opened the public hearing at 6:27 PM.
District Manager Miller addressed the Board reiterating that the levy is estimated to be $1.3058/$100 of assessed
valuation and he recommended approval.
In response to the Chair, Ms. Bender advised that there were no citizens wishing to speak at this time. There were
no comments or questions from the Board.
Chair Kavanagh closed the public hearing at 6:27 PM.
AGENDA ITEM #3 — CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION EMCFD 2017-01. APPROVING THE
TENTATIVE BUDGET AS THE FINAL BUDGET OF THE DISTRICT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
BEGINNING JULY l 20l 7. AND ENDING JUNE 30. 2018.
Boardmember Brown MOVED and Boardmember Yates SECONDED a motion to approve Resolution EMCFD
2017-02, which CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY by those members present (7-0).

Boardmember Brown MOVED that the Board adjourn the meeting at 6:28 p.m. and Vice Chair Magazine
SECONDED the motion, which CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY by those members present (7-0).
