SPECIAL SESSION OF THE
DISTRICT BOARD OF
THE EAGLE MOUNTAIN COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT [EMCFD]
June 5, 2018
CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
District Chair Linda M. Kavanagh called the Special Session to order at 5:43 p.m. in the Fountain Hills Town
Hall Council Chambers.
ROLL CALL — Present for roll call were the following members of the District Board of the Eagle Mountain
Community Facilities District: Chair Linda M. Kavanagh, Vice Chair Dennis Brown, Boardmember Alan
Magazine, Boardmember Nick DePorter, and Boardmember Henry Leger. District Manager Grady E. Miller,
Interim District Board Attorney Mitesh V. Patel, and District Clerk Bevelyn Bender were also present.
Boardmember Art Tolis was absent;
CALL TO THE PUBLIC
District Clerk Bender advised that there were no citizens wishing to speak at this time.
AGENDA ITEM #1— CONSIDERATION OF APPROVING THE EAGLE MOUNTAIN COMMUNITY
FACILITIES DISTRICT BOARD MEETING MINUTES OF MAY 1, 2018.
Vice Chair Brown MOVED and Boardmember Magazine SECONDED a motion to approve the meeting
minutes of the May 1, 2018 Eagle Mountain Community Facilities District Board meeting.
Ms. Bender advised that there were no citizens wishing to speak at this time.
The motion CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY by those members present (5 - 0).
AGENDA ITEM #2 — PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING RESOLUTION EMCFD 2018-02, APPROVING
THE TENTATIVE BUDGET AS THE FINAL BUDGET OF THE DISTRICT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
BEGINNING JULY 1, 2018, AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2019.
Chair Kavanagh opened the public hearing at 5:44 p.m.
District Manager Miller summarized the information in the staff report (available on-line and in the office of the
District Clerk). He stated that the debt would be retired in 2021 and that staff recommended approval.
Ms. Bender advised that there were no citizens wishing to speak at this time.
Chair Kavanagh closed the public hearing at 5:45 p.m.
AGENDA ITEM #3 — CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION EMCFD 2018-02, APPROVING THE
TENTATIVE BUDGET AS THE FINAL BUDGET OF THE DISTRICT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
BEGINNING JULY 1, 2018, AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2019.
Boardmember Magazine MOVED to approve Resolution EMCFD 2018-02 and Boardmember DePorter
SECONDED the motion, which CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY by those members present (5 - 0).

AGENDA ITEM #4 — ADJOURNMENT.
Vice Chair Brown MOVED to adjourn the meeting at 5:45 p.m. and Boardmember DePorter SECONDED the
motion, which CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY by those members present (5 - 0).
