® AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS, ARIZONA
PURSUANT TO TOWN CODE CHAPTER 9 PARKS AND
RECREATIONS, ARTICLE 9-1 PARKS AND RECREATION
DEPARTMENT, SECTION 9-1-3 POWERS AND DUTIES OF
THE DIRECTOR PRESCRIBING RULES AND
REGULATIONS FOR THE CONDUCT OF PERSONS IN
GOLDEN EAGLE PARK AND DECLARING A PENALTY
PROVISION FOR THE VIOLATION OF SAID RULES.
WHEREAS, the Town Code Chapter 9, Article 9-1, Section 9-1-3.F provides that
the Director of Parks and Recreation shall post such rules and regulations as are deemed
necessary for the conduct of persons in the Town's parks; and,
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Director with the approval of the Parks and
Recreation Commission submits the following rules and regulations for conduct at Golden
Eagle Park;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF FOUNTAIN HILLS, ARIZONA AS FOLLOWS:
® Section 1. That the following rules for the conduct of persons at Golden Eagle
Park, in the Town of Fountain Hills are hereby adopted as follows:
1. No pets allowed except on leash.
2. No vehicles except in designated areas and any vehicles left after
11:00 p.m. will be towed at the owner's expense.
3. No golfing or practicing of golf on grass areas.
4. No open fires or overnight camping.
5. No glass beverage containers.
6. No firearms or weapons unless specifically authorized.
7. No vending or sales without written authorization.
Section 2. That upon conviction of a violation of any of the rules set forth in
Section 1 above the party convicted shall be charged with a Petty Offense. That
subsequent convictions for the violation of these rules by the same party shall be treated
® as a Class 1 Misdemeanor.
