Home My WebLink AboutOrd 1994-486 ORDINANCE #94-48 AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS, ARIZONA, AMENDING THE CHAPTER 7 BUILDINGS AND BUILDING REGULATIONS, SECTION 7-1-1 ADOPTION BY REFERENCE; VIOLATIONS OF THE CODE OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS,4RIZONA BY ADDING SUBSECTION 7. "THE 1991 EDITION OF THE UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE AND ALL SUPPLEMENTS". WHEREAS On June 28, 1990, the Mayor and Common Council passed Ordinance #90-8 which adopted The Code of the Town of Fountain Hills; and WHEREAS Chapter 7 of The Code of the Town of Fountain Hills specifies the building construction codes are to be followed in the Town of Fountain Hills; and WHEREAS Building codes are updated to reflect improved construction materials and techniques, and to prohibit unsafe construction procedures and materials; and ® WHEREAS The 1991 Uniform Plumbing Code and all supplements to this code provide for improved plumbing procedures and materials and prohibits practices and materials that are no longer safe or satisfactory; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS, ARIZONA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter 7, Section 7-1-1, of The Code of the Town of Fountain Hills is hereby amended to add subsection 7. as follows: 7. The Uniform Plumbing Code, 1991 Edition and all supplements; with the following exceptions: A. Replacing Table 10-2 with Attachment "A" B. Add to Section 409 (B) the following language: "For the purposes of this subsection, the word 'approved' shall be defined as , as design submitted to the Town of Fountain Hills, reviewed and approved by the Fountain Hills Sanitary District and the Town of Fountain Hills Building Official.
