1.) Consideration of RESOLUTION 2003-13 declaring and adopting the results of the
special election held on May 20, 2003.
2.) CALL TO THE PUBLIC.
Pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431-01(G), public comment is permitted (not required) on matters not listed on the agenda but must be
within the jurisdiction of the Council. All comment is "subject to reasonable time, space and manner restrictions" and the
Council will not discuss or take legal action on matters raised during call to the public unless the matters are properly noticed
for discussion and legal action. At the conclusion of the call to the public, individual Council members may respond to
criticism, ask staff to review a matter or ask that a matter be put on a future agenda.

RESOLUTION NO.2003-13
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
FOUNTAIN HILLS, ARIZONA, DECLARING AND ADOPTING THE
RESULTS OF THE SPECIAL ELECTION HELD ON MAY 20, 2003.
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Town of Fountain Hills (the "Town Council")
did cause to be submitted to the qualified electors of the Town of Fountain Hills (the "Town") at a
special election held in and for the Town on May 20, 2003 (the "Special Election") for the election
of Mayor and for the purpose of voting on Proposition 400, a resolution submitting to the qualified
electors of the Town the question of authorizing the Town to levy primary property taxes; and
WHEREAS, the election returns have been presented to and have been canvassed by the
Town Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS, as follows:
SECTION 1. That the total number of ballots cast at the Special Election, as shown by the
poll lists was 5411.
SECTION 2. That the number of ballots to be verified was 74, the number of challenged
ballots was zero and that voters found to be ineligible was 28.
SECTION 3. That the votes cast for the candidates for mayor were as follows:

adoption.
