CALL TO ORDER Councilmember Grzybowski called the meeting of Wednesday, October 13, 2021,to order at 5:05 p.m. in the Fountain Conference Room, located at 16705 East Avenue of the Fountains, Fountain Hills, Arizona. 2. ROLL CALL COUNCILMEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmember Sharron Grzybowski and Councilmember Gerry Friedel COUNCILMEMBER ABSENT: Vice Mayor Alan Magazine STAFF PRESENT: Executive Assistant Angela Padgett-Espiritu 3. VOTE TO GO INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION 1 St Councilmember Grzybowski 2nd Councilmember Friedel Moved that the Fountain Hills Town Council Subcommittee enter into Executive Session at 5:07 p.m.;passed unanimously by those present(2-0). A. For discussion or consideration of employment, assignment, appointment, promotion, demotion, dismissal, salaries, disciplining or resignation of a public officer, appointee or employee of any public body,pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(a)(1). i. Interviews for Board of Adjustment, Community Services Advisory Commission, Sister Cities Advisory Commission and Strategic Planning Advisory Commission. At 5:35 p.m.the Executive Session adjourned and the Town Council Subcommittee reconvened their regular meeting. 4. POST EXECUTIVE SESSION ACTION A. Consideration of Recommendation to the Mayor for Appointment(s)to Board of Adjustment, Community Service Advisory Commission, Sister Cities Advisory Commission and Strategic Planning Advisory Commission. 1 S`Councilmember Grzybowski 2❑d Councilmember Friedel Moved to recommend to the Mayor that Jeremy Smith be reappointed to the Board of Adjustment with the term ending October 31,2024; passed unanimously by those present(2-0). Moved to recommend to the Mayor that Craig Rudolphy be appointed to the Community Services Advisory Commission with the term ending April 30,2023;passed unanimously by those present(2-0). Moved to recommend to the Mayor that Bev Tall, Lisa Ristuccia and Zarrin Caldwell be appointed to the Sister Cities Advisory Commission with the term ending October 31, 2024; passed unanimously by those present(2-0). Moved to recommend to the Mayor that Bernie Hoenle be appointed to the Strategic Planning Advisory Commission with the term ending April 30,2022;passed unanimously by those present(2-0). 5. ADJOURNMENT 1 S`Councilmember Grzybowski 2"d Councilmember Friedel moved to adjourn; passed unanimously by those present (2-0). The Fountain Hills Town Council Subcommittee adjourned at 5:40 p.m.
