MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
MAY 21,2013
A public meeting of the Fountain Hills Board of Adjustment was convened and called to order
by Chairman Paul Ryan at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2013, in the Town Hall Council
Chambers located at 16705 E.Avenue of the Fountains, Fountain Hills,Arizona.
AGENDA ITEM #1 CALL TO ORDER, PLEDGE TO THE FLAG, MOMENT OF
SILENT REFLECTION,AND ROLL CALL.
Present for the meeting were Chairman Paul Ryan, Vice-Chairman Carol Perica and Board
Members John Kovac III,Nick Sehman and Daniel Halloran. Also present were Development
Services Senior Planner Robert Rodgers and Janice Baxter Executive Assistant and recorder
of the minutes.

AGENDA ITEM #2 CONSIDERATION of the Board of Adjustment meeting minutes for
April 16,2012.
Vice-Chairman Carol Perica made a MOTION to approve the meeting minutes from the April
16, 2013, Board of Adjustment meeting. Board Member John Kovac SECONDED and the
MOTION passed 5-0.

Chairman Paul Ryan praised and thanked Janice Baxter and Robert Rodgers for their hard
work on the medical marijuana variances.

AGENDA ITEM#4 ADJOURNMENT.
Vice-Chairman Carol Perica made a MOTION to adjourn the meeting and Board Member
John Kovac III SECONDED. The MOTION passed 4-0. The meeting adjourned at 6:32 p.m.
