HomeMy WebLinkAboutBA.2011.0315.Minutes TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MARCH 15,2011 A public meeting of the Fountain Hills Board of Adjustment was convened and called to order by Chairman Richard Gohl at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2011, in the Town Hall Council Chambers located at 16705 E. Avenue of the Fountains, Fountain Hills,Arizona. AGENDA ITEM #1 CALL TO ORDER, PLEDGE TO THE FLAG, MOMENT OF SILENT REFLECTION,AND ROLL CALL. Present for the meeting were Chairman Richard Gohl, Vice-Chairman Paul Ryan and Board Members John Kovac III, Michael Archambault and Carol Perica. Also present were Development Services Director Paul Mood, Senior Planner Robert Rodgers and Janice Baxter Executive Assistant and recorder of the minutes. Board Member John Kovac made a MOTION to approve the meeting minutes from the February 16, 2010, Board of Adjustment meeting. Board Member Carol Perica SECONDED and the MOTION passed 3-0. Roll call: Board Member John Kovac aye Vice-Chairman Paul Ryan aye Chairman Richard Gohl aye AGENDA ITEM #2 NOMINATION AND ELECTION of a Chairman and Vice-Chairman for a one (1)year term. Chairman Richard Gohl asked for nominations for chairman. Vice-Chairman Paul Ryan nominated Richard Gohl and Carol Perica seconded the nomination. A voice vote was taken and Richard Gohl was elected chairman of the Board of Adjustment from March 15, 2011 through February 21,2012. Chairman Richard Gohl asked for nominations for vice-chairman. Chairman Richard Gohl 411) nominated Paul Ryan and Board Member John Kovac III seconded the nomination. AGENDA ITEM#4 ADJOURNMENT. Vice-Chairman Paul Ryan made a MOTION to adjourn the meeting and Board Member John Kovac SECONDED. The MOTION passed 5-0.
