ITEM#1: CALL TO ORDER
A special session meeting of the Community Services Advisory Commission was convened and called
to order by Chair Natalie Varela at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 26, 2015 in the Council Chambers at
Town Hall, located at 16705 East Avenue of the Fountains,Fountain Hills, Arizona.
ITEM#2: ROLL CALL
In attendance at roll call were, Chair Natalie Varela, Vice-Chair Sherman Abrahamson, Commissioners
Nancy Blumenstein, Patt Canning, Don Doty, Jerry Gonell, Jim Judge, Lynne Mott, Ron Ruppert,
Danny Tancredi, and Greg Woo. Absent at roll call was Commissioner Donna Yordy. Director Mark
Mayer and Executive Assistant Jennifer Lyons represented staff. Commissioner Aiello from the
McDowell Mountain Preservation Committee was also in attendance.
ITEM#3: CALL TO THE PUBLIC
No one from the public wished to speak at this time.
Vice Chair Abrahamson, made the statement,that when we were going through the difficulties with TLC
negotiations, Commissioner Judge was not around,but he sought to it that he had his input on a telephone
hookup. He went above and beyond. Vice Chair Abrahamson thanked Commissioner Judge on behalf of
the Commission.
ITEM #4: CONSIDERATION OF APPROVING THE SEPTEMBER 28, 2015 MEETING
MINUTES
Commissioner Doty made a motion to accept the minutes of the September 28, 2015 meeting and
Commissioner Woo seconded and the motion passed by unanimous vote.
ITEM#5: CONSIDERATION OF ESTABLISHING COMMISSION MEETING DAYS AND
TIMES FOR 2016
Commissioner Tancredi a motion to meet at 5:00 p.m. for the below listed dates,Commissioner Doty
seconded and motion passed by unanimous vote.
• January 25
• February 22 *Joint meeting with Town Council will meet at 5:30 p.m.*
• March 28
• April25
• May 23
• June 27
• July—No meeting scheduled
• August—No meeting scheduled

ce, Chair Varela mentioned that movie in the park is coming up on November 7th. We are showing Free
Birds and so far Chair Varela was able to get six sponsors. It's fun and it's free.
Director Mayer reviewed the following events coming up for the weekend.
• Saturday is Halloween in the Hills
• Friday is a trip to the Coyotes game for the kids. First time we've tried this and the bus is full.
ITEM#11: CONSIDERATION OF ADJOURNMENT
Vice Chair Abrahamson made a motion to adjourn at 5:16 p.m., Commissioner Tancredi seconded and
the motion passed by unanimous vote.
