There is a very slight possibility of gaining access through Mayan Canyon. The workgroup met with Jeremy Hall, President of MCO. Chair Myers indicated that Mr. Hall is in discussion with Town staff regarding re-platting Adero Canyon. If all goes extremely well, they will break ground this year. The Town would then gain access up to the proposed trailhead for people, bikes, and cement trucks. The building at the trailhead could then be built using the$1.7 million designated for it. The Town is updating the CIP and Land-use plan. It could be possible to have the trailhead in the FY 2014- 15 budget. It is estimated the trailhead could be built in two to two and one-half years.
