AGENDA ITEM#1 —CALL TO ORDER
A public meeting of the Strategic Planning Advisory Commission was convened and called to order by Chair
Dana Saar at 3:59 p.m., Thursday, October 18, 2018 in the Council Chambers at Town Hall, located at 16705 East
Avenue of the Fountains,Fountain Hills, Arizona.
AGENDA ITEM#2—ROLL CALL
Present at roll call were Chair Dana Saar, Vice-Chair Peter Bordow, Commissioners Gerard Bisceglia, John W.
Craft, Jr., and John McHugh. Staff members present were Town Manager Grady Miller, Finance Director Craig
Rudolphy,and Executive Assistant Nancy Walter.
AGENDA ITEM#3—CALL TO THE PUBLIC
No one spoke at the Call to the Public.
AGENDA ITEM#4—CONSIDERATION OF APPROVING THE MAY 17,2018 MEETING MINUTES
Vice-Chair Bordow MOVED to approve the May 17, 2018 meeting minutes; Commissioner McHugh
SECONDED the motion, which CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY by those present.
AGENDA ITEM#5— DISCUSS MATCHING THE STRATEGIC PLAN WITH BUDGET CONSTRAINTS
The Commission discussed the Strategic Plan, the Town's budget, and applying priorities. The Commission will
review the priorities at the next meeting.
AGENDA ITEM#6—UPDATE ON COMMISSIONER RECRUITMENT AND INTERVIEWS
Four Commissioners' terms expire in November; three Commissioners have requested reappointment. There are
four additional applicants.
The Commission will meet on November 15, 2018 at 4:00 p.m.
AGENDA ITEM#7—CONSIDERATION OF ADJOURNMENT
Vice Chair Bordow MOVED to adjourn at 4:42 p.m. Commissioner Craft SECONDED the motion, which
CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY by those present.
