44o, TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS z MINUTES OF THE z STRATEGIC PLANNING ADVISORY COMMISSION that is AO'is A SEPTEMBER 28, 2017 AGENDA ITEM#1—CALL TO ORDER A public meeting of the Strategic Planning Advisory Commission was convened and called to order by Vice Chair Peter Bordow at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, September 28, 2017 in the Council Chambers at Town Hall, located at 16705 East Avenue of the Fountains,Fountain Hills,Arizona. AGENDA ITEM#2—ROLL CALL Present at roll call were Vice-Chair Peter Bordow, Commissioners Tammy Bell, Gerard Bisceglia, John W. Craft, Jr., John McHugh (via phone), and Scott Schlossberg. Absent at roll call was Chair Dana Saar. Staff members present were Town Manager Grady Miller and Executive Assistant Nancy Walter. AGENDA ITEM#3—CALL TO THE PUBLIC No one spoke at the Call to the Public. AGENDA ITEM#4—INTRODUCTION OF COMMISSIONER SCOTT SCHLOSSBERG Vice Chair Bordow welcomed and thanked Commissioner Scott Schlossberg for volunteering his time. Commissioner Schlossberg gave a brief bio. AGENDA ITEM#5—CONSIDERATION OF APPROVING THE APRIL 27,2017 MEETING MINUTES • Commissioner Craft MOVED to approve the April 27, 2017 meeting minutes; Commissioner Bisceglia SECONDED the motion,which CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY by those present. AGENDA ITEM#6—REVIEW PROGRESS MADE ON THE 2017 STRATEGIC PLAN Town Manager Grady Miller reviewed the three attached documents. He said the Strategic Plan is reviewed by the management team once a month and there would be periodic updates on the progress of the Strategic Plan at the SPAC meetings by the staff assigned to specific tasks. The progress report will be adjusted to show the status of each item as they are actively pursued. Staff will add links to the items and the appropriate website page. Vice Chair Bordow thanked the Commissioners for their contributions to the Strategic Plan. The Plan will be updated in 2020. AGENDA ITEM#7—CONSIDERATION OF ADJOURNMENT Commissioner Bisceglia MOVED to adjourn at 4:28 p.m. Commissioner Bell SECONDED the motion, which CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY by those present.
