The largest age group in 2005 (35-44 years) declined by almost 33% in 2015. Conversely, all age groups over 54 years increased. In 2015 the age group 65-74 years increased by nearly 50% and now represents the largest group in FH at 16% of the total population. Age groups greater than 54 years now represent 47% of the total. Income— Median household income rose to $71607 from $66492 in 2005. Business Employment Types— Retail employment as a % of total employee types was 15%. This is a drop of almost 40%from the 2005 rate of 25%. Construction remained level with 2005 but financial/insurance/real estate also declined by nearly 40%from 2005. Housing—The 2012 median value of a FH home was $298,114 versus $248,000 in 2004. Median age of housing in FH is now 22 years. This is certainly influenced in part by the small number of new house permits issued since 2007 (152). In 2015 nearly 2/3 of the households have only 2 persons in residence. Sales Tax Revenues—The cumulative levies in 2014 was approximately $8.5 million representing a decline from revenues in 2004 of about $9.0 million. Personal and Corporate Income Tax Sharing— Declined in 2014 to about $1.5 million from $1.9 million in 2004.
