The name"Fountain Hills"and the word"neglect"should never be found in
the same sentence. The words"friendly", "safe","modern",and"beautiful"
on the other hand,should be.
Unfortunately,however,the state of Saguaro Blvd,one of our most heavily
traveled tributaries in and out of our fair town,has been neglected for far too
long.
True,the town has patched what it could but this 5-mile stretch of road has
long since served its lifetime since it was constructed 40 years ago. Ever-
increasing repair and rehabilitation costs will only add to the total cost of the

The Greater Fountain Hills Business Alliance is a non-profit, pro-business
organization formed for the purpose of promoting economic and business
vitality in our community.With this as our goal,we support the proposal to
adopt an$8.2 million bond issue to rebuild Saguaro Boulevard.
Saguaro Boulevard is the oldest and most heavily traveled of our three
collector roads; it is the primary entrance to our downtown area; is getting
worn out and overdue for reconstruction.
The cost of this bond issue, which will fully amortize over five years, is
minimal.For the average homeowner it is around$130 per year.This small
cost will pay great dividends in increased road safety,better traffic flow,less
wear and tear on our automobiles and many other benefits.
Therefore,we urge you to join us in keeping the roads of Fountain Hills in
good condition.Vote YES on this ballot.

de 5 millas por mucho tiempo ha servido su vida desde que se construyo

solamente le va anadir al costo total del inevitable reemplazo y repavimentar
que hoy enfrentamos.
