GROUNDS FOR THE DEMAND OF RECALL
We,the undersigned,have come forward to recall the election of Jon Michael Beydler,the current Mayor in the Town of Fountain Hills,Arizona.As qualified electors,
we are exercising our right to recall Mayor Jon Michael Beydler.We,the undersigned,ask for this recall on the grounds of lack of integrity,misrepresentation and
irresponsible behavior caused to the citizens of Fountain Hills.
INCUMBENT'S RESPONSE
Recall is an important safeguard in our electoral process designed to protect each of us as citizens from elected officials who violate their oaths of office and the
public trust.
It is not intended to be a club that a disaffected minority can use to overturn the will of a majority of voters through our normal election process.
The charges brought against me are fabrications and false generalizations without merit.I have done nothing that warrants removal from office.
Rather,over the last six months I have worked closely with members of our Town Council to constructively tackle and solve some very thorny issues.We have:
• Settled 2 out of 3 of the Firefighter lawsuits.
• Hired a new Town Manager,Town Attorney and Presiding Judge.
• Worked on expanding the Economic Base of our community.
• Dramatically reduced an inherited$5m budget deficit.
• Moved towards creating our own Police Department.
• Started to bring real harmony and collaboration to the business of governing our town.
• Convened many,many public meetings and generated enthusiastic citizen involvement.
I hope you will join me in making this a constructive and decisive election.Thank you for your vote of confidence.

Nosotros,los abajo firmantes,nos presentamos a pedir la destitucion de la eleccion de Jon Michael Beydler,el actual Alcalde del Pueblo de Fountain Hills,Arizona.
Como electores calificados,estamos ejerciendo nuestro derecho de destituir al Alcalde Jon Michael Beydler. Nosotros, los abajo firmantes,solicitamos esta
destitucion basandonos en su falta de integridad,tergiversaciOn y comportamiento irresponsable con respecto a los ciudadanos de Fountain Hills.
RESPUESTA DEL TITULAR
La destitucion es una garantia importante en nuestro proceso electoral establecida para proteger a cada uno de nosotros como ciudadanos de oficiales elegidos
que violan los juramentos a sus cargos y la confianza del publico.
No este hecha con la intenciOn de convertirse en el arma de una minoria que no apoya a oficiales elegidos para derribar la decision que tomo una mayoria de
votantes mediante un proceso electoral normal.
Los cargos de los que se acusa son inventos y falsas generalizaciones sin merito.No he hecho nada para merecer la destitucion de mi cargo.
Por el contrario,durante los ultimos seis meses he trabajado muy de cerca con los miembros del Concejo de nuestro Pueblo para abordary resolveralgunos asuntos
muy dificiles.Hemos:
• Resuelto 2 de los 3 litigios de los Bomberos.
• Contratado a un nuevo Administrados del Pueblo,Fiscal del Pueblo y Presidente del Tribunal.
• Trabajado expandiendo la Base Economica de nuestra comunidad.
• Reducido dramaticamente un deficit de presupuesto de$5 m que fue heredado.
• Avanzado hacia la creacion de nuestro propio Departamento de Policia.
• Empezado a traer armonia y colaboracion en la tarea del gobierno de nuestro pueblo.
• Convocado muchas,muchas reuniones publicas y generado una participaciOn entusiastica de parte de nuestros ciudadanos.

A proposal submitted by the Town of Fountain Hills,Arizona,relating to the levy of a primary property tax,designated specifically for fire and emergency medical
services.
Official Title: A RESOLUTION SUBMITTING TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS, ARIZONA, THE QUESTION OF
AUTHORIZING THE TOWN TO LEVY PRIMARY PROPERTY TAXES.
Descriptive Title:A proposal submitted pursuant to State law to authorize the Town to levy primary property taxes in the amount of$2.6 million(which currently
equates to an estimated.9393 cents per$100 of assessed property value or$239.51 on a$300,000 home)to be used to fund the cost of fire and emergency medical
services for the Town of Fountain Hills.
Shall the Town of Fountain Hills,Arizona, be authorized to levy a primary property tax in the initial amount of$2.6 million,designated specifically for fire and
emergency medical services?If approved,this amount will be the base for determining the statutory levy limitations for the Town in all subsequent years.
A"YES"vote shall have the effect of(i)allowing the Town of Fountain Hills to levy a primary property tax,specifically designated to fund the cost of fire and
emergency medical services and (ii) repealing the sales tax increase adopted by the Mayor and Town Council on January 16, 2003. The amount levied is
approximately the same amount previously levied as a secondary property tax by the former Fountain Hills Fire District.This primary property tax would be
automatically discontinued if a new fire district is formed and a secondary property tax is levied and collected by that district.
A"NO"vote shall have the effect of(i)not allowing the Town to levy a primary property tax,(ii)leaving in place the sales tax increase and(iii)causing the Town,
if it intends to continue to provide fire and emergency medical services,to allocate funds from other Town functions to cover the cost of fire and emergency medical
