WHEREAS, in 1992 the U.S. Congress proclaimed Customer Service Week a nationally
recognized event, celebrated annually during the first full week in October, and
WHEREAS, Customer Service Week is devoted to recognizing the importance of customer

service and honoring the people on the front lines of the service revolution, and
WHEREAS, various federal, state, and local government officials throughout the country are

taking this time to recognize, thank, and commend all customer service personnel for the

dedicated service they provide to citizens, and

WHEREAS, the Town Council would like to express its sincere thanks and appreciation for the

outstanding service provided to the citizens of the Town of Fountain Hills on a daily basis by the

Customer Service Representatives of the Town, and

WHEREAS, the Town Council recognizes and commends the Customer Service Representatives
for fulfilling the Town's commitment to providing the highest and most efficient level of

customer service,
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Jay T. Schlum, Mayor of the Town of Fountain Hills, hereby proclaim

the week of October 3 Through October 7, 2011 as Customer Service Week in Fountain Hills and
respectfully ask all citizens to join in expressing thanks for the outstanding work performed by

the Customer Service Representatives of the Town throughout the year.
