RESOLUTION NO. 1990 -6
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS,
ARIZONA, APPROVING THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS TO ENTER INTO MEMBERSHIP WITH
THE MARICOPA ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN
HILLS, ARIZONA:
THAT the Maricopa Association of Governments pursues the common
interests of the towns and cities in Maricopa County for their mutual
benefit and provides services to enhance the development, planning and
growth of it's membership, making membership in said association desirable
and beneficial.
THAT the Mayor and the Town Council of Fountain Hills feel that
® membership in the association would be beneficial for the Town of Fountain
Hills and approve said membership.

WHEREAS, it is necessary for the preservation of the peace, health and
safety of the Town of Fountain Hills, Arizona, an emergency is declared to
exist, and this resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage
and adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Town Council of the Town of
Fountain Hills, Arizona, this IS i\ day of February, 1990.
