A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS, ARIZONA PURSUANT
TO A.R.S. § 28 -317 AND A.R.S. § 28 -1443 DESIGNATING A
CERTAIN VEHICLE FOR DUTY IN CONNECTION WITH
SOCIAL SERVICE PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES OF A
CONFIDENTIAL NATURE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
FOUNTAINS, ARIZONA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That A.R.S. § 28 -317 provides that motor vehicles of a political subdi-
vision shall display official registration plates and distinguishing marks unless exempt
pursuant to the provisions of A.R.S. § 28 -1443.
Section 2. That A.R.S. § 28 -1443 provides that the governing body of a political
subdivision may petition for exemption from the provisions of the article if a certain motor
vehicle will be used in certain types of activity which include social services programs,
felony investigations and /or activities of a confidential nature.
Section 3. That the Town wishes to designate a 1990 Chevrolet Vehicle No.
1 G1 BL54E1 LA155652, a four door white Caprice Chevrolet as such a vehicle and by the
passage and adoption of this resolution do so hereby indicate.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
