A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS, ARIZONA, AUTHORIZING THE
APPLICATION FOR CERTAIN FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE UNDER THE
DISASTER RELIEF ACT, OR OTHERWISE AVAILABLE FROM
DISASTER RELIEF FUNDS.
WHEREAS, The Town of Fountain Hills, an entity established under the laws of the
State of Arizona, hereby authorizes its agent to provide to the state and to federal units for all
matters pertaining to disaster assistance; and
WHEREAS, The Town of Fountain Hills experienced damages due to the January, 1993,
storm declaring the State of Arizona a disaster area; and
WHEREAS, The Town of Fountain Hills is hereby applying for disaster assistance,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Common Council of the
Town of Fountain Hills have hereby authorized Randy L. Harrel, Town Engineer, to be
designated as the applicant in applying for reimbursement of funds to repair or replace damaged
facilities and other disaster related expenses, from the State of Arizona, Department of
Emergency and Military Affairs.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of March, 1993.
