A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS,ARIZONA,PURSUANT TO A.R.S.§23-
901.06,DECLARING THE VOLUNTEER TOWN RISK MANAGER AN
"EMPLOYEE"FOR PURPOSES OF WORKER'S COMPENSATION
BENEFITS.
WHEREAS,A.R.S.§23-901.06defines volunteer workers of atownasemployeesforthe
purposes of worker's compensation benefits;and
WHEREAS,A.R.S.§23-901.06requiresatowntoestablishwhichvolunteerworkers will
be entitled tosuch benefits;and
WHEREAS,the Town of FountainHillsestablishedtheposition of RiskManager,which
positionisdesignatedasavolunteerwithinthe meaning of A.R.S.§23-901.06.
NOW,THEREFORE,BEIT RESOLVED bytheMayorandCommonCouncil of the
Town of Fountain Hills,Arizona,as follows:
Section 1.Thatthe volunteer holdingthe position of Risk Manager is hereby declared tobean
"employee"withinthemeaning of A.R.S.§23-901.06.
Section 2.That,pursuantto A.R.S.§23-901.06,thebasisfor computing worker'scompensation
benefitsshallbe four hundred dollars ($400)permonth.

Hills,Arizonathis5thday of December,1996.
