RESOLUTION 1996-87
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS,ARIZONA,APPROVING AND ACCEPTING
THE TRANSFER OF TITLE OF APPROXIMATELY 159 PARCELS OF
LAND,MORE COMMONLY KNOWN AS "THE WASHES",FROM THE
OWNER OF RECORD TO THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS.
WHEREAS,theMayorand Council havepreviouslybymotionauthorizedanddirectedthe
TownManagertoaccepttitleto approximately 159 parcels ofrealproperty,commonly knownas
"the Washes";and
WHEREAS,theMayorand Council have previously directedStafftoperformalltestsand
inspections necessary prior tothe acceptance of the property and to incur expenses in connection with
escrow fees,recording feesandtitleinsurance;and
WHEREAS,the title insurance company hasrequesteda formal resolutionasa requirement
forthe issuance of title insurance;
NOW,THEREFORE,BEIT RESOLVED bytheMayorandCommonCouncil of the
Town of Fountain Hills,Arizona,asfollows:
Section 1.Thatthe Mayor,the Town Manager,the Town Clerk,and the Town Attorney are
herebyauthorizedanddirectedtoexecuteall documents andpayallfeesanddoallotheracts
necessary forthe acceptance bytheTownof Fountain Hills offee simple titleto approximately 159
parcels of real property,commonly known as"the Washes"from theowner of recordofsaid parcels.
PASSED AND ADOPTED bytheMayorandCommonCouncil of theTown of Fountain
Hills,Arizonathis5thday of December,1996.
