RESOLUTION 1995-17
A RESOLUTION OFTHE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OFFOUNTAIN HILLS,ARIZONA REQUESTING AN
EXTENSION OF THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS AND THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT
OF COMMERCE RELATING TOTHE DEVELOPMENT OF THE
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN.
WHEREAS,TheTown Council of the Townof Fountain Hills is desirous of developing a
Capital Improvements Plan to assist in implementation of the Town of
Fountain Hills General Plan;and
WHEREAS,The State ofArizona,Arizona Department of Commerce is administering the
State Development Fund-Capital Improvements Program Planning Grant;
and
WHEREAS,Theexisting Intergovernmental Agreement expires on May 25,1995;and
WHEREAS,The Town of Fountain Hills needs an extension of time to complete the
Capital Improvements Plan;and
WHEREAS,The Arizona Department of Commerce requires a resolution showing
Council support for the Intergovernmental Agreement extension;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Common Council of the Town of
Fountain Hills,Arizona hereby request an extension to the Intergovernmental Agreement
to October 25,1995 for the development of the Capital Improvements Plan;and further
That the Mayor and Common Council of the Town of Fountain Hills authorize the
submission of an extension request to the Arizona Department of Commerce to
complete this planning document.
