ANORDINANCEOFTHEMAYORANDCOUNCILOFTHETOWNOF
FOUNTAINHILLS,ARIZONA,DELETING ARTICLE 9-2OFTHEFOUNTAIN
HILLS TOWN CODE,PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION,RELATING
TOTHECONSOLIDATIONOFTHEPARKSANDRECREATION
COMMISSION,THESENIOR SERVICES ADVISORY COMMISSION AND
THE COMMUNITY CENTER ADVISORY COMMISSION INTOANEW
COMMUNITY SERVICES ADVISORY COMMISSION.
WHEREAS,pursuant to Resolution No.2014-28,the Mayor and Council ofthe Town of
Fountain Hills (the "Town Council")consolidated the Parks and Recreation Commission,the
Community Center Advisory Commission and the Senior Services Advisory Commission into a new
Community Services Advisory Commission;and
WHEREAS,theTownCouncildesirestodeleteArticle9-2 of theFountainHillsTown
Code,relatingtotheParksandRecreationCommission,toreflectsuchconsolidation.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF TFffi TOWN OF
FOUNTAIN HILLS as follows:
SECTION 1.The Fountain Hills Town Code,Chapter 9 (Parks and Recreation),Article 9-2
(Parks and Recreation Commission)is hereby deleted inits entirety.
SECTION 2.The Mayor,the Town Manager,the Town Clerk and the Town Attorney are
hereby authorized and directed to execute all documents and take all steps necessary to carry out the
purpose andintent of this Ordinance.
