A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS,MARICOPA COUNTY,ARIZONA,
AMENDING THE FOUNTAIN HILLS GENERAL PLAN IN SECTIONS 28
AND 29;TOWNSHIP 3 NORTH,RANGE 6 EAST,GILA AND SALT
RIVER BASE MERIDIAN,FOUNTAIN HILLS, MARICOPA COUNTY,
ARIZONA.
WHEREAS,The Town of Fountain Hills adopted the Fountain Hills General Plan in
accordance withArizona Revised Statutes §9-461.05 on May 6,1993;and
WHEREAS,The Arizona Revised Statutes § 9-461.06. and the Fountain Hills General Plan
provides for the authority to amend its General Plan;and
WHEREAS,The Town of Fountain Hills has received an application to amend its Future Land
UsePlanin the areaof Sections 28and29,Township 3East,Range 6 North,Gila
and Salt River Base Meridian;and
WHEREAS,The Fountain Hills Planning and Zoning Commission duly advertised and held a
public hearing on the application from Eagle Mountain LLC to amend the Future
Land Use Plan in the area of Sections 28 and 29 on April 28, 1994; and
WHEREAS,The Mayor and Common Council of the Town of Fountain Hills duly advertised
and held a public hearingon the applicationfrom Eagle Mountain LLC to amend
the Future Land Use Plan in the area of Sections 28 and 29, on June 2, 1994,
NOW THEREFORE,The Mayor and Common Council of the Town of Fountain Hills,
Arizona,hereby amends the Future Land Use Plan of the Fountain
Hills General Plan in Sections 28 and 29, Township 3 East, Range
6 North,Gila and Salt River Base Meridian as shown on
Attachment "A"of this resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this o>n cl day of June,1994 by the Mayor and Common Council
of the Town of Fountain Hills,Arizona.
