HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 1994-39RESOLUTION NO.1994-39 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS,AMENDING THE PAY RESOLUTION FOR EMPLOYEES IN THE MUNICIPAL SERVICE OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS. WHEREAS,the Town Council desires to amend and update job descriptions andpay ranges for employees in the municipal service of the Town of Fountain Hills; and WHEREAS,the Town Council desires that the rates of pay set forth in said resolution shall supersede any previous salaryranges for said employees in various classes or positions; NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS,ARIZONA: SECTION 1:That the minimum and maximum annual salaries for the employees of the Town of Fountain Hills described herein by position title shall be as follows: POSITION TITLE MINIMUM MAXIMUM Engineer Community Development Director Street Superintendent Town Marshal Director of AdministrationVTown Clerk Parks &Recreation Director Senior Planner Recreation Program Coordinator Accountant Executive Secretary to the Town Manager Chief Court Clerk Deputy Marshal Court Collections Officer SECTION 2: That the hourly pay ranges for the building safety,planning and zoning, engineering and Golden Eagle Park department employees of the Town of Fountain Hills described herein by position title shall be as follows: POSITION TITLE MINIMUM MAXIMUM Chief Building Official Assistant Engineer/Inspector Drafting Technician Assistant Building Official/Inspector Parks Operation Worker /SECTION 3:That the hourly pay ranges for the street department employees of the Town of Resolution 1994-39,Page 1 of 3 52,000 75,400 47,500 68,900 40,400 58,600 39,400 57,100 37,600 54,500 37,000 53,600 32,500 47,200 29,200 42,300 26,600 38,600 25,500 37,000 25,000 36,300 25,000 36,300 22,000 32,000 19.00 27.60 14.20 20.70 11.50 16.70 11.50 16.00 9.30 13.50 Fountain Hills described herein by position title shall be as follows: POSITION TITLE MINIMUM MAXIMUM Field Supervisor Mechanic/Sweeper Maintenance in Maintenance II Maintenance I SECTION 4:That the hourly pay ranges for the clerical and related employees of the Town of Fountain Hills described herein by position tide shall be as follows: POSITION TITLE MINIMUM MAXIMUM Information Systems Technician Administrative Assistant I Court Clerk Secretary I Data Entry/Clerk Typist/Receptionist SECTION 5:That the hourly pay ranges for part-time,seasonal and temporary employees of the Town of Fountain Hills described herein by position title shall be as follows: POSITION TITLE MINIMUM MAXIMUM Intern Level I Intern Level II Intern Level in SECTION 6:The minimum and maximum rates and the ranges constituting the salary range of a position title shall supersede any previously adoptedfor said tides. SECTION 7:Employees in Section 1 are salaried and are not eligible for any overtime compensation.Employees in Sections 2, 3, 4, and 5 are hourly and therefore entitled to overtime compensation. SECTION 8:The Town Manager is hereby authorized to place the salary of each employee at a rate of pay within the salary range for the position title to which said employee is assigned.The rates of pay so established for various employees shall be effective at the time of review.
