RESOLUTION NO.1995-51
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON
COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS,
ADOPTING THE TENTATIVE BUDGET AS THE 1995-96
FISCAL YEAR BUDGET FOR THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN
HILLS.
WHEREAS,inaccordancewiththeprovisionsofTitle42,Sections301,302,303and
304,A.R.S.,the Town Council ofthe Town of Fountain Hills did,onJuly5,1995,make an
estimateofthedifferentamountsrequiredtomeetthepublicexpendituresandexpensesforthe
ensuing year,alsoan estimate of revenues fromsources other than direct taxation,andthe
amounttoberaisedbytaxationuponrealandpersonalproperty of theTownof$357,088;and
WHEREAS,inaccordancewithsaidsectionsofsaidtitle,andfollowingduepublic
notice,the Council metonAugust3,1995,at which meeting anytaxpayerwas privileged to
appearandbeheardinfavoroforagainstanyoftheproposedexpendituresandexpenses;and
WHEREAS,itappearsthatpublicationhasbeendulymadeasrequiredbylaw,ofsaid
estimates togetherwithanoticethattheTown Council wouldmeeton August 3,1995,atthe
meetingplaceoftheCouncilforthepurposeofhearingtaxpayers;and
WHEREAS,itappearsthatthesumstoberaisedbytaxation,asspecifiedtherein,donot
intheaggregateamountexceedthatamountascomputedinTitle42Section 301.A,A.R.S.;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,that the said estimates of revenues,
expendituresandexpensesshownontheaccompanyingschedulesasnowincreased,reducedor
changed byandthesameareherebyadoptedasthebudget of theTown of Fountain Hillsforthe
fiscal year 1995-96.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this3rddayofAugust,1995,bytheMayorandTown
Council of Fountain Hills.
