A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
FOUNTAIN HELLS,ARIZONA,AUTHORIZING,PURSUANT TO A.R.S.§
28-8103,THE USE OF UP TO TEN (10)PERCENT OF MONIES RECEIVED
BY THE TOWN FROM THE LOCAL TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE
FUND FOR CULTURAL,EDUCATIONAL,HISTORICAL,
RECREATIONAL OR SCEENTEFIC FACILITIES OR PROGRAMS.
WHEREAS,theTown of FountainHills,Arizonaendeavorstoprovideaccesstocultural,
educational,historical,recreational or scientific facilities orprogramsforits residents;and
WHEREAS,A.R.S.§28-8103allowsuptoten(10)percent of themoniesreceivedfrom
theLocal Transportation AssistanceFundtobeallocatedforsuchuses.
THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,THAT THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN FULLS,ARIZONA,AS FOLLOWS:
Section1.That,pursuant toA.R.S.§28-8103,theTown Manager isherebyauthorizedto
presenttotheTownCouncilplanstoexpenduptoten(10)percent of themoniesreceivedbythe
Town of Fountain HillsfromtheLocal Transportation AssistanceFundforcultural,educational,
historical,recreational orscientificfacilitiesorprograms.
Section2.That,pursuanttoA.R.S.§28-8103,theTown Manager is directed tosetaside,and
spendforthesamepurpose,matching fundsequaltotheamount of Local Transportation Assistance
Fundsexpendedforcultural,educational,historical,recreationalorscientificfacilitiesorprograms.
PASSED AND ADOPTED bythe Mayor and Common Council of the Town of Fountain
Hills,Arizona this6thday of March,1997.
