RESOLUTION 1997-64
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS,ARIZONA,ACCEPTING THE DEED OF
APPROXIMATELY FOUR ACRES OF LAND ADJACENT TO THE FOUR
PEAKS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND AUTHORTZTNG THE MAYOR,
MANAGER,CLERK AND ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE ANY AND ALL
DOCUMENTS AND PAY ANY AND ALL FEES AND COSTS NECESSARY
FOR THE TRANSFER OF THE DEED TO THE LAND.
WHEREAS,the Town of FountainHillshasmadean application to the Arizona State Parks
Department foragrantinaidetoassisttheTowninthedevelopment of theFourPeaks
Neighborhood Park;and
WHEREAS,said grant callsfora participant matchpart of whichcanbeland currently
owned bythe Fountain HillsSchool District;and
WHEREAS,theFountainHillsSchool District Board has authorized transfer of thetitleto
certainrealpropertytotheTown of FountainHillsthroughaspecialwarrantydeed.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON
COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS,ARIZONA,AS FOLLOWS:
Section1.That theTownCouncilauthorizesandacceptsthetransfer of titletocertainreal
property described inExhibit"A"attachedheretowhichconstitutesapproximatelyfour(4)acres of
landuponwhichtheimprovementsfortheFourPeaksNeighborhoodParkwillbebuilt.
Section2.ThattheMayor,theManager,theClerkandtheAttorneyareherebyauthorizedto
signanyandalldocumentsandtopayanyandallfeesandcostsassociatedwiththetransferofthe
real property fromtheSchool District totheTown.
PASSED AND ADOPTED bytheMayorandCommonCouncil of theTown of FountainHills,
Arizona this 18th day of December,1997.
