A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON
COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS,
ADOPTING THE TENTATIVE BUDGET AS THE 1998-99
FISCAL YEAR BUDGET FOR THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN
HILLS.
WHEREAS,inaccordancewiththe provisions ofTitle42,Sections301,302,303and304,
A.R.S.,theTownCounciloftheTownof Fountain Hillsdid,onJuly2,1998,makeanestimateof
thedifferentamountsrequiredtomeetthepublicexpendituresandexpensesfortheensuingyear,
alsoanestimateofrevenuesfromsourcesotherthandirecttaxation,andtheamounttoberaisedby
taxationuponrealand personal property of the Town of $249,700;and
WHEREAS,inaccordancewithsaidsectionsofsaidtitle,andfollowingduepublicnotice,
theCouncilmetonAugust6,1998,atwhichmeetinganytaxpayerwasprivilegedtoappearandbe
heardinfavoroforagainstanyoftheproposed expenditures andexpenses;and
WHEREAS,itappearsthatpublicationhasbeendulymadeasrequiredbylaw,ofsaid
estimatestogetherwithanoticethattheTownCouncilwouldmeetonAugust6,1998,atthe
meetingplaceoftheCouncilforthepurposeofhearingtaxpayers;and
WHEREAS,itappearsthatthesumstoberaisedbytaxation,asspecifiedtherein,donotin
the aggregate amount exceed that amount as computed in Title 42 Section 301.A,A.R.S.;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,that the said estimates of revenues,
expenditures and expenses shown onthe accompanying schedules asnow increased,reduced or
changed byandthesamearehereby adopted asthe budget of the Town of Fountain Hillsforthe
fiscalyear 1998-99.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this6thdayof August,1998,bythe Mayor and Town Council
of Fountain Hills.
