A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
FOUNTAIN HILLS,ARIZONA,PERTAINING TO THE
SUBMISSION OF PROJECTS FOR CONSIDERATION IN
ARIZONA'S 2001 HIGHWAY SAFETY PLAN:
WHEREAS,The Governor's Office of Highway Safety is seeking proposals fromstate
andlocal agencies for projects relating toall aspects of highway safety;
and
WHEREAS,TheTownof Fountain Hills,through the Marshals Department,is
interested in submitting projects tobe considered for funding in the form
of reimbursable grants forthe National Highway Safety Administration;
NOW,THEREFORE,beit resolved bythe Mayor and Common Council of the Town of
Fountain Hills,Arizona as follows:
L That approval of the submission of projects for consideration in Arizona's
2001 Highway Safety Plan is granted.

2.That Steve Gendler,Director of Public Safety,is appointed agent for the
Town of Fountain Hills,to conduct all negotiations and to execute and
submit all documents andany other necessary or desirable instruments in
connection with such grant.
