A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
FOUNTAIN HILLS,ARIZONA,PERTAINING TO THE
SUBMISSION OF PROJECTS FOR CONSIDERATION IN
ARIZONA'S [2001]HIGHWAY SAFETY PLAN:
WHEREAS,The Governor's OfficeofHighway Safety isseekingproposalsfromstate
andlocal agencies for projects relating toall aspects of highway safety;
and
WHEREAS,TheTownofFountainHills,throughthe Marshals Department,is
interested in submitting projects tobe considered for funding inthe form
of reimbursable grantsforthe National Highway Safety Administration;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED Bythe Mayor and Common Council oftheTown
of Fountain Hills,Arizona as follows:
1.That approval ofthe submission of projects for consideration in Arizona's
2001 Highway Safety Plan is granted.
2001 Ford CrownVictoria patrol vehicle
2.ThatSteveGendler,Director ofPublicSafety,is appointed agentforthe
Town of Fountain Hills,to conduct all negotiations andto execute and
submit all documents andany other necessary or desirable instruments in
connection with such grant.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6m dayofApril,2000.
