A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS,ARIZONA,PURSUANT TO ARIZONA
REVISED STATUTES SECTION 9-232.02 AND TOWN CODE SECTION 2-1-
5 ESTABLISHING A SALARY OF $400 PER MONTH FOR COUNCIL
MEMBERS AND ESTABLISHING A SALARY OF $600 PER MONTH FOR
THE MAYOR.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS,ARIZONA,AS FOLLOWS:

ThatonApril 30,1992 theMayorandCouncil oftheTown ofFountain Hillspassed
Resolution 1992-10 establishing the current salary for members of the Council.
That Section 2-1-5 of the Fountain HillsTownCode provides thatthe compensation
of theelectedofficers of theTownshallbefixedfromtimetotimebyresolution of
the Council.
Pursuant totheauthoritybothunderstatelawandtheTownCode,thefollowing
compensation is hereby established:
A.Commencing withthefirst regular Town Council meeting inJuly,2000,each
Council member shall receive gross compensation of $400 per month,or
proportionate portion thereof,served.
B.Commencing withthefirst regular Town Council meeting inJuly,2000,the
Mayor shall receive a gross compensation of $600 per month,or
proportionate portion thereof,served.
