A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS,ADOPTING THE
TENTATIVE BUDGET AS THE 2000-2001 FISCAL YEAR
BUDGET FOR THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS.
WHEREAS,in accordance withtheprovisionsofTitle42,Chapter 17,Articles1-5,Arizona
Revised Statutes (A.R.S.),the Town Council ofthe Town of Fountain Hillsdid,onJuly6,2000,makean
estimate of the different amounts required to meet the public expenditures and expenses forthe ensuing
year,alsoan estimate of revenues fromsources other thandirect taxation,andthe amount toberaisedby
taxationuponrealandpersonalpropertyoftheTownof$707,600;and
WHEREAS,in accordance withsaid chapter ofsaidtitle,and following duepublicnotice,the
Council meton August 3,2000,at which meeting any taxpayer was privileged to appear and be heard in
favor of or against any of the proposed expenditures and expenses ortaxlevies;and
WHEREAS,itappearsthat publication hasbeenduly made as required bylaw,ofsaid estimates
together witha notice thatthe Town Council would meeton August 3,2000,atthe meeting place of the
Councilforthepurposeof hearing taxpayers andmakingtaxleviesassetforthinsaid estimates;and
WHEREAS,itappearsthatthesumstoberaisedby taxation,as specified therein,donotinthe
aggregate exceed that amount as computed inA.R.S.§42-17051(A);
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,thatthe said estimates of revenues,expenditures
and expenses shownonthe accompanying schedules asnow increased,reduced or changed byandthe
sameareherebyadoptedasthe budget oftheTownof Fountain Hillsforthefiscalyear 2000-2001.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of August,2000,bythe Mayor and Town Council of
Fountain Hills.
