RESOLUTION NO.2001-39
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS,ADOPTING THE
TENTATIVE BUDGET AS THE 2001-2002 FISCAL YEAR
BUDGET FOR THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS.
WHEREAS,in accordance withthe provisions ofTitle42,Chapter 17,Articles1-5,Arizona
Revised Statutes(A.R.S.),the Town Council ofthe Town of Fountain Hillsdid,onJuly5,2001,makean
estimateofthedifferentamountsrequiredtomeetthepublicexpendituresandexpensesfortheensuing
year,alsoanestimateofrevenuesfromsourcesotherthandirecttaxation,andtheamounttoberaisedby
taxationuponrealandpersonal property oftheTownof $1,338,094;and
WHEREAS,inaccordancewithsaidchapterofsaidtitle,andfollowingduepublicnotice,the
Councilmeton August 2,2001,atwhich meeting any taxpayer was privileged to appear andbeheardin
favorofor against any of the proposed expenditures and expenses ortax levies;and
WHEREAS,itappearsthatpublicationhasbeendulymadeasrequiredbylaw,ofsaidestimates
together withanoticethatthe Town Council would meeton August 2,2001,atthe meeting placeofthe
Council forthe purpose of hearing taxpayers and making tax levies assetforthinsaid estimates;and
WHEREAS,itappearsthatthesumstoberaisedbytaxation,asspecifiedtherein,donotinthe
aggregate exceed that amount as computed in A.R.S.§42-17051(A);
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,thatthesaidestimatesofrevenues,expenditures
and expenses shownonthe accompanying schedules asnow increased,reduced or changed byandthe
sameare hereby adopted asthe budget of the Town of Fountain Hills forthefiscalyear 2001-2002.
