A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
FOUNTAIN HILLS,ARIZONA,AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.2003-02
TO EXTEND THE EXPIRATION DATE THEREIN.
WHEREAS,on January 16,2003,the Mayor and Council of the Town of Fountain Hills
(the "Council")adopted Resolution 2003-02 endorsing the formation of a new fire district and
setting the endorsement expiration dateon December 31,2003;and
WHEREAS,theCommitteetoSaveOurCommunity(the"Committee")hasrequested
thatthe December 31,2003 endorsement expiration datebe extended tooneyearfromthedate
thatthe Maricopa County Board of Supervisors (the "County Board")authorizes the Committee
to circulate petitions for formation of a new fire district.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS,ARIZONA,as follows:
SECTION 1.That Section 1 of Resolution 2003-02 ishereby amended to change the
endorsementexpirationdatefrom December 31,2003tooneyearfromthedatethattheCounty
Board authorizes the Committee to circulate petitions for formation of a new fire district.
PASSED AND ADOPTED bythe Mayor andCouncilofthe Town of Fountain Hills,
Arizona,May 1,2003.
