RESOLUTION NO.2003-27
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF FOUNTAIN HILLS,ADOPTING THE TENTATIVE BUDGET AS THE 2003-
2004 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET FOR THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS.
WHEREAS,inaccordancewiththeprovisionsofTitle42,Chapter17,Articles 1-5,ArizonaRevised
Statutes (A.R.S.),theTown Council did,onJune 19,2003,make an estimate ofthe different amounts required
tomeetthepublic expenditures/expenses fortheensuingyear,alsoanestimateofrevenuesfromsourcesother
thandirect taxation,andtheamounttobe raised by taxation uponrealand personal property ofthe Town of
Fountain Hills,Arizona,and
WHEREAS,in accordance with saidchapterofsaidtitle,and following duepublic notice,the
CouncilmetonJune19,2003,atwhichmeetinganytaxpayerwasprivilegedtoappearandbeheardinfavor
oforagainstanyoftheproposed expenditures/expenses ortaxlevies,and
WHEREAS,itappearsthatpublicationhasbeendulymadeasrequiredby law,ofsaidestimates
together witha notice that the Town Council would meet on June 19,2003,atthe office of the Council forthe
purpose ofhearing taxpayers andmakingtaxleviesassetforthinsaid estimates,and
WHEREAS,itappearsthatthesumstoberaisedbytaxation,asspecified therein,donotinthe
aggregate exceed that amount as computed inA.R.S.§42-17051(A),therefore beit
RESOLVED,thatthesaidestimatesofrevenuesand expenditures/expenses shownonthe
accompanying schedules,asnowincreased,reduced,orchanged,areherebyadoptedasthebudgetofthe
TownofFountainHills,ArizonaforthefiscalyearJuly1,2003throughJune30,2004.
PASSEDAND ADOPTED bytheFountainHillsTownCouncil,this19thdayofJune,2003.
