RESOLUTION NO.2003-39
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
FOUNTAIN HILLS,ARIZONA,APPROVING ANNUAL LICENSE FEES
FOR DOGS AND SETTING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS,Section 6-2-3,License Fees forDogs;Issuance of DogTags;Records;
Penalties;Classification,of the Fountain Hills Town Code provides thatthe Mayor and Council
of the Town of Fountain Hills (the "Town Council")may set annual license feesfordogs;and
WHEREAS,the Town Council desires to approve annual license feesfor sterile and
non-sterile dogs.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS,ARIZONA,as follows:
SECTION 1.That the annual license feefor sterile dogs shall be $10.00.
SECTION 2.That the annual license fee for non-sterile dogs shall be $25.00.
SECTION 3.That the Mayor,the Town Manager,the Town Clerk andthe Town
Attorneyarehereby authorized and directed to execute all documents andtakeallsteps
necessary to carry outthe purpose of this Resolution.
SECTION 4.That this Resolution shall take effect at12:01a.m.on August 4,2003.
