A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
FOUNTAIN HILLS,ARIZONA,PERTAINING TO THE
SUBMISSION OF PROJECTS FOR CONSIDERATION IN
ARIZONA'S r20031 HIGHWAY SAFETY PLAN:
WHEREAS,theGovernor'sOfficeof Highway Safetyisseekingproposalsfromstateandlocal
agenciesforprojectsrelatingtoallaspectsofhighwaysafety;and
WHEREAS,theTownof Fountain Hills,through the Marshals Department,is interested in
submitting projects tobe considered for funding intheformof reimbursable grants
fortheNationalHighwaySafety Administration;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BytheCouncil of theTown of Fountain Hills,
Arizona as follows:
L That approval ofthe submission of projects for consideration inArizona's 2003 Highway
Safety Plan is granted.

2.ThatToddTate,Marshal,is appointed agentfortheTownof Fountain Hills,toconductall
negotiations andtoexecuteandsubmitall documents andanyothernecessaryor desirable
instrumentsinconnectionwithsuchgrant.
