PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS,the River of Time Museum has recently undergone a major renovation after
over 12 years of serving the public;and
WHEREAS,many new,exciting,and interactive exhibits have been added that explore
the historic and ongoing role of water in the development of the lower Verde River
Valley Communities;and
WHEREAS,we have a fascinating history in this region and we relate the development of
the area through the generations of those who have occupied the land;and
WHEREAS,more changes will occur at the museum to keep it relevant and fulfill our
mission to engage,entertain,educate,and inspire people about the Lower Verde River
Valley through relevant topics and experiences;and
WHEREAS,by using the natural/social sciences of the region we preserve and interpret
the past to understand the present and promote future sustainability;and
NOW,THEREFORE,I,Linda M.Kavanagh,Mayor of the Town of Fountain Hills,Arizona,
do hereby proclaim the L.Alan Cruikshank River of Time Museum a valuable asset to the
Town of Fountain Hills and congratulate the museum on its latest renovation.
