AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS,. MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA PROVIDING
FOR THE•ISSUANCE OF WARRANTS PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF A.R.S. SEC. 42-313
AND A.R.S. SECS.-9-247 THROUGH-249 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED.BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF FOUNTAIN HILLS, ARIZONA:
Section 1. Issuance of Warrants.
That whenever the Town of Fountain -Hills is` indebted upon an account, upon
-approval for payment of such indebtedness by the. Tovn Council of the Town of
Fountain,Hills by motion noted in the minutes of a regular of special meeting,
the Mayor or the Vice'Mayor, in case of his absence or unavailability, or the
Town -Clerk is authorized to issue warrants upon the Town. Treasurer for.the
amount due. Not more.than one warrant shall be .drawn for the amount allowed.
The warrant shall be. drawn in -'favor of the person to whom it is due, and.the
warrant'shall be substantially,in.the following form:

Section 2. Emergency Clause.
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the preservation of the peace, health and safety
of the •Town of Fountain Hills, Arizona, an emergency is declared to exist, and
this ordinance shall become immediately operative and in force from and after
the date of posting hereof.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by- the Town Council of the Town -of Fountain Hills, Arizona
and APPROVED by.an.affirmative vote of three -fourths of the members this 1st'
day of February, 1990.;
