AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
FOUNTAIN HILLS, ARIZONA, AMENDING THE TOWN CODE CHAPTER 4
POLICE DEPARTMENT, BY ADDING A NEW ARTICLE 4-3 CREATING A
TOWN MARSHAL'S RESERVE OFFICER PROGRAM.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
FOUNTAIN HILLS, ARIZONA AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 4, Police Department of Town Code is
hereby amended by adding Article 4-3 entitled Town Marshal's
Reserve Officer Program.
SECTION 2. That attached to this Ordinance is Exhibit A
setting forth the text of Article 4-3 and adopting the same as if
® fully setforth herein.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY the Mayor and Common Council of the Town
of Fountain Hills, Arizona this 15th day of November, 1990.

EXHIBIT A TO
ORDINANCE 90-20
ARTICLE 4-3 TOWN MARSHAL'S RESERVE OFFICER PROGRAM
SECTION 4-3-1 CREATION, PURPOSE
There is hereby created the Town Marshal's Reserve Officer
Program for the purpose of protecting the public health, safety and
welfare by training qualified candidates to serve the community in
public safety matters under the control and direction of the Town
Marshal.
SECTION 4-3-2 RULES AND REGULATIONS
The Town Marshal with the direction and approval of the Town
Manager shall prepare written rules and regulations for
participation in the Town Marshal's Reserve Officer Program.
SECTION 4-3-3 APPROVAL AND AUTHORIZATION
All rules and regulations shall be approved by the Council
prior to their implementation.
