HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 1991-03ORDINANCE 91-03 AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS, ARIZONA, AMENDING THE TOWN CODE CHAPTER 7, ARTICLE 7-1, SECTION 7-1-1 BY SPECIFYING EXCEPTIONS TO THE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE, 1985 EDITION. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS, ARIZONA AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Chapter 7, Article 7-1, Section 7-1-1 of the Fountain Hills Town Code to be amended to read as follows: a) Section 7-1-1 Adoption by Reference; Violations A. The following listed publications, three copies of which are on file in the office of the town clerk, are hereby adopted by reference as if set out at length in this code: 1. The Uniform Building Code, 1985 Edition. Except the following: Chapter 3, Section 301. (b) Exempted Work. A building permit shall not be required for the following: 2. Fences not over 6-feet 30 inches high. 5. Exemption from the permit requirements of this code shall not be deemed to grant authorization for any work to be done in any manner in violation of the 'j provisions of this code or any other laws or ordinances of this jurisdiction. Application for Permit Sec. 302. (a) Application. To obtain a permit, the applicant shall first file an ..,i application therefor in writing on a form furnished by the code enforcement -' agency for that purpose. Every such application shall: I.
